Tonya + Tyler kicked things off with a catamaran cruise at sunset the day before their wedding. Guests sipped cocktails, danced on deck, and even dove straight into water right after the sunset. The welcome party set the tone for the weekend: fun, vibrant, and lots of drinks!
The Wedding at Secrets Playa Blanca
On their big day, Tonya + Tyler embraced a boho jungle wedding design that perfectly matched the tropical Riviera Maya setting. Their ceremony space was surrounded by lush greenery and rattan chairs. It was equal parts laid-back and elegant—a reflection of their personalities and their love for nature.
Before their ceremony, they stayed in their pajamas to read other other their vows in a more intimate setting. I loved this idea!!
Meet you at the Jungle Pool!
The ceremony and reception was at the rooftop, but cocktail hour was at a pool nearby called “The Jungle Pool” which is where we took their portraits too! Everyone enjoyed custom cocktails, and then made their way back to reception. The whole night was simple and FUN. Tonya + Tyler got fireworks to go off during their first dance, and after that, it was drinking and dancing (and a little cigarette smoking) the rest of the night.
