I truly believe in human connection and I thank you for being here! One of my favorite quotes goes like this “what looks like rebellion as a teenager, turns into passion as an adult” so if you’re a rebel soul like me, RAISE YO HAND. But seriously, I love adventure and only mildly tolerate plans, I love pushing past the boundaries of what’s considered normal. I’m very much a go with the flow type of gal. The way to my heart is a dominos pizza, or to stop to check out some cool rocks. Also, keep an eye out on my IG for my forever obsession, Peachy + Wallace, my two Goldens.

me in my happy place
The desert is my absolute favorite place in the world (developed this love when I lived in Las Vegas). But now if you ask me, I might say Mexico is my fav place.
I do a lot of work as a human trafficking/sexual exploitation prevention educator. This is a huge part of my life so you can read more about down there.
I'm an extroverted introvert. I always say this because I highly value quality time with others (my love language) but I recharge by being alone.
Popcorn is my absolute favorite snack and my family even has it's own secret recipe.
I was a military wife! My husband was in the Navy, but now we’re onto new adventurous.

As a teenager, I struggled to have healthy relationships with those around me and noticed my friends experiencing those same things too. Eventually, I learned that often times survivors of human trafficking become trafficked through what they thought was normal relationships with their partners or family members. Fortunately, this wasn't my story, but I knew it was the story of many people my age and I knew I had to do something about it.
My first work with survivors was overseas in a couple of different countries which really sparked my heart. So, I came home and decided I would move to Las Vegas to work alongside a ministry that was working with survivors. After a year of educating myself and teaching the public of the issue, I got married and moved to Washington and I worked with survivors of all backgrounds, ages, and genders in direct advocacy care. I did a lot of prevention through education in jail systems, schools, and community centers.
Now I work in a volunteer aspect in the red light district here in Tijuana.
I have a huge passion for conversations around this subject, so if this is something you have questions about, feel free to message me!
When I was 14 I picked up a camera for the first time, but I believed this lie I had about myself that I was never creative or artsy. I was taking a photography class and an art class in school, and none of what I was doing looked like what others were doing. This belief kept me from fully pursuing anything creative. So, I quickly stopped taking pictures for a long time. When I was 18, I moved to the desert and started to feel a little more like me, and that was when I picked up a camera again. I took pictures of my friends, and whoever would let me... Families, couples, whoever.
I got married and I moved to Washington, I was working a really hard job that took a lot out of me emotionally, and I needed something creative to fuel me. So, I started to photograph weddings and I fell in love with the process of telling a story in new ways. The more I practiced being creative, the more this lie I believed faded away, and I got to freely just create. After about a year, I added in videography to my business and things really took off from there! Now I photograph + film weddings all over the world and meet the coolest couples and still like to practice creativity and story telling in lots of ways!
