maria + josh are one of my favorite couples I’ve ever worked with! they’re both equally funny, kind, compassionate, and feisty. when we were talking about their wedding, they said they just wanted to keep things intimate and celebrate alongside their family. they drove all the way from Texas with their two dogs and everything they own to get married, and then start their lives in a new place.

they started off the day super low-key. they had two different airbnbs, maria did her own hair and makeup and she chatted on the phone with josh about his day. they hung out with their dogs and their family until it was time for the ceremony. we originally planned to do a first look between the two of them, but they decided last minute to just allow the day to flow naturally and they would see each other later.

when it was time for the ceremony, they both cried coming down the aisle. you HAVE to see Josh’s reaction to his bride. it was too precious. their ceremony was simple, and they said their own vows to each other. the spot looked out over the ocean and the crook point rock. it was a very bright day but it was so stunning.

at the end of the evening, after some dancing and cake eating, we made our way to this private spot only the venue had access to for some sunset portraits. it was the most gorgeous sunset and I still can’t get over it.
