an elopement that I’ll forever cherish

I met Luke + Jaelynn when they moved into the apartment next to ours a couple of years ago. The day I saw them moving in, I saw they were my husband and I’s age so I knew we would be great friends. Josh went over to help them move in and I made friends with Jaelynn a couple months later when she brought her new puppy home. Bailey would run to greet me and my dog Peaches, anytime we were outside.

Luke + Jaelynn quickly became apart of our family and they come over all the time for dinners and game nights. We celebrate all of our big moments in life together too.

I remember teasing them from very early on about when they would get married so I was super excited when I heard that Luke officially had a ring for Jaelynn. He proposed on the waterfront on her birthday. Our house screamed when we heard the news.

Luke + Jaelynn are a big part of our lives and they’re a gift to us and so it was even more special when I was one of the only people to witness them elope on the beach in the Olympic National Park.

One of the best memories yet!!
